Senior Preconstruction Lead - Electrical & Design

Job summary

Faith Technologies is seeking a Preconstruction Lead to guide design phases across Design-Build, Design Assist, and Integrated projects. You will coordinate design activities with consultants, clients, and subcontractors, and develop value-added pricing and solutions from concept through detailed drawings.

You will monitor budgets, manage design issues, and serve as the liaison between preconstruction and operations, ensuring compliance with codes and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 5 years of electrical contracting experience or MEP coordination.
• Willingness to travel 15–25%.
• Availability to work between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday–Friday.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must pass background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Project Manager and owner during the design phase of Design-Build, Design Assist, and Integrated projects.
• Coordinate other preconstruction resources for successful project delivery.
• Serve as the key interface between preconstruction and operations groups.
• Design and develop value-added technical pricing and design solutions from concept through detailed drawings.
• Coordinate design activities with consultants, subcontractor partners, and clients.
• Develop best-in-class preconstruction services with the Preconstruction Services leadership team.
• Track open or unresolved design issues and design and cost changes.
• Participate in Faith Technologies Preconstruction Services meetings and presentations.
• Monitor project progress and engineering, design, and CAD project budgets using PSR, TIA, Roles & Responsibilities Tracker, and Preconstruction Cost reports.
• Oversee designs, cost estimates, value engineering solutions, and supporting documentation.
• Serve as the single point of contact for the Project Manager for all preconstruction activities.
• Facilitate project design and documentation to meet project goals, objectives, and budgets.
• Guide project managers during the design phase to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
• Participate in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program as appropriate.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
