Job summary

Rigetti Computing is seeking a hands-on Quality Control Technician to support incoming inspection, non-conformance resolution, and parts disposition across hardware programs. This role is execution-focused, measuring parts and evaluating conformance while collaborating with engineering to resolve issues on high-tolerance machined hardware, PCBAs, and RF/microwave assemblies used in cryogenic environments.

Qualifications

• IQC inspection plan execution and sampling per criteria
• Measure parts and document results with precision tools
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specs (GD&T)
• Familiarity with NCR/MRB processes and CAPA follow-through
• Maintain traceability and thorough records

Responsibilities

• Perform Incoming Quality Control inspections daily
• Define inspection plans and sampling per criteria
• Measure and document results using CMM, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators
• Flag discrepancies and escalate as needed
• Support NCR/MRB and CAPA activities; drive resolution and closure
• Maintain inspection records and data packages for supplier issues
