Qualifications

• Five+ years in manufacturing, machining, or sustaining-engineering roles.
• Hands-on with Swiss turning, CNC milling, micromachining.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, GD&T, tooling, fixturing, and process capability.
• Experience with root-cause analysis, data-driven process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide sustaining engineering support for precision-machining processes.
• Identify improvements to tooling, fixtures, workstations, and cutting parameters.
• Troubleshoot dimensional variation, surface defects, burrs, and scrap.
• Analyze interaction of design, tolerances, materials, machining methods, and inspection requirements.
• Lead root-cause investigations and engineering studies.
• Update work instructions and technical reports.
• Collaborate with machinists, Operations, Quality, and maintenance.
• Verify improvements are effective and sustainable.
