Job summary

Rocket Lab Corporation in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Precision Finishing Technician III, Deburr for the C Shift to deburr and finish additive manufactured parts for Rutherford engine components used in Electron launch vehicles.

You will apply deburring and finishing techniques, QA methods, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while meeting production timelines. Experience with high-strength steels, Inconel, and related processes is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in part finishing (machine, cast, forge, or print).
• Attention to detail and time management skills.
• High-level manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Able to maintain a clean, safe and efficient work area.

Responsibilities

• Deburr/finish additive manufactured parts used in Rutherford engine components.
• Apply finishing and QA techniques, including dye penetrant testing awareness.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to safety standards.
• Support production through efficient, accurate finishing and documentation.
