Qualifications

• 20+ years of precision assembly experience.
• Experience in development or R&D environments preferred.
• Experience building space hardware preferred.
• Self-directed, decisive and resourceful.
• Strong problem-solving and rapid information gathering when unclear.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly of optical, mechanical, and electro‑mechanical components.
• Work in Class 100 (ISO 5) clean room and lab environments.
• Assemble, bond, and handle delicate components to tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
• Maintain traceability and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross‑functional teams to improve methods.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce errors and rework.
• Lift and transport items up to 32 lbs.
