Job summary

STV, Inc. seeks a Pre-Construction Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead SC transportation projects through preconstruction and delivery phases. The role combines planning, design coordination, environmental work, and procurement support with strong client and staff leadership.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, staffing, and contractual performance for major multidisciplinary projects while collaborating with regional leadership to grow STV's SC practice.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, transportation planning, architecture, or related field.
Strong leadership, client service, and advanced project-management capabilities.
Experience delivering large, multidisciplinary transportation projects with budgets and schedules.
Ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, staffing, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, alternatives development, design, right-of-way, permitting, procurement support, and transition to construction.
Direct multidisciplinary teams across roadway, bridge, traffic, drainage, and environmental disciplines.
Coordinate subconsultants, partners, and public agencies to ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor financial performance, labor utilization, scheduling, and project profitability.
Lead client meetings, proposals, and negotiations with STV senior leadership.
