Job summary

Accelevation is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to lead the preconstruction phase for regional projects. You will provide expert estimating, planning, and constructability input before project execution, ensuring accurate and well-conceived deliverables for client decisions and risk management.

The role requires guiding estimating teams, collaborating with operations, and presenting deliverables to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in construction estimating, preconstruction, or project management.
• Proven experience leading preconstruction efforts on complex projects.
• Experience managing estimating teams preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of construction estimating, pricing, and market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate mature knowledge of construction pricing and cost drivers.
• Develop detailed estimates for Exterior Envelope, Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical scopes.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors and leverage market knowledge.
• Apply understanding of local market conditions and pricing impacts.
• Serve as a super user for preconstruction and estimating applications and tools.
• Support development of project schedules with accurate duration and sequencing input.
• Coordinate and manage estimating teams and preconstruction deliverables.
• Present preconstruction deliverables to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead quality control reviews to ensure estimates and narratives are accurate.
