Role Overview

The Senior Pre-construction Estimator will lead large-scale land development cost estimates, collaborate with project teams, and stay updated on industry trends to ensure accurate and competitive estimates for data center projects.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for data center projects at various stages.
2. Analyze drawings and specifications to develop accurate estimates, considering labor, materials, and equipment costs.
3. Collaborate with project teams to verify costs and identify potential challenges.
4. Recommend design alternatives to control costs without compromising quality.
5. Maintain and develop a database of current costs and establish estimating policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or relevant experience.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., ProEst).
• Extensive experience with construction documents and at least 7 years in preconstruction estimating or management.
• Leadership skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of data center mechanical and electrical systems.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience; leadership experience is a plus.
