ms consultants, inc. seeks a Senior Practice Engineer – Water/Wastewater in Ohio for a hybrid role based in Columbus, Youngstown, Cleveland or Akron.

You will lead design efforts for water and wastewater infrastructure, mentor staff, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-impact public and private projects. Ideal candidates bring extensive water/wastewater experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with process or hydraulic modeling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Extensive water/wastewater design experience is expected.
• Experience with process or hydraulic modeling software is preferred.
• Experience leading projects or teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead water and wastewater design projects across treatment, distribution, and collection.

Are you a seasoned engineer driven to make a meaningful impact on communities and the environment? ms is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Engineer with deep water/wastewater industry knowledge to join our growing water team. This position is a hybrid role and can be based out of one of our Ohio offices in either Columbus, Youngstown, Cleveland or Akron, Ohio.

As a senior member of our water business unit, you will lead and contribute to impactful projects that design, enhance, and sustain water and wastewater infrastructure for diverse public and private clients. As a Senior Engineer, you will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and design expertise on multidisciplinary water/wastewater projects. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners across a broad range of project types, supporting quality delivery and client satisfaction. Your role will also include project leadership, quality control, technical review, task management, and support in proposal development, depending on your experience and interests.

Educational Qualifications:

• Professional Engineering (PE) License

Technical Qualifications:

• Extensive water/wastewater design experience
• Experience with process modeling or hydraulic modeling software preferred
• Prior experience with task or project management is a plus
