Mass General Brigham is seeking a Senior Practice Assistant to provide advanced administrative support for clinical operations. You will handle scheduling, registration, billing, and patient services onsite at 100 Blossom Street, ensuring smooth daily office operations and staff support.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of office experience required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong phone, customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to compose, edit, and proofread professional correspondence.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to follow established processes and work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain appointment records.
  • Assist callers with inquiries and coordinate appointments.
  • Process billing forms and scan documents into patient medical records (LMR).
  • Serve as a Super User for scheduling, registration, and billing systems, providing guidance and training.
  • Perform advanced scheduling functions, including surgical scheduling and schedule management.
  • Provide functional guidance to Office and Practice Assistants.
  • Support the Supervisor in overseeing daily practice operations.
  • Handle messages related to prior authorizations, provider inquiries, prescription refills, and test results.
  • Collect patient co-payments as needed.
