OneOncology is seeking a Sr. Accountant in Practice Accounting to support the month-end close and financial reporting under US GAAP. This hybrid role is based in Nashville, TN.

The Senior will prep and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses, partnering with other pods to ensure a cohesive close process and strong internal controls. A CPA is preferred and healthcare experience is desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and accounting best practices.
• Strong Excel skills; Workday ERP experience preferred; CPA preferred.
• Experience mentoring or reviewing junior staff is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review staff accountants’ work for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Ensure US GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.
• Mentor staff accountants with training and guidance.
• Analyze results with Practice Accounting operations and explain variances.
• Assist with integration of new physicians and service lines, including opening balance sheets.
• Support process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Perform other duties to support the close process.
