Northshore Technical Community College in Louisiana seeks a qualified nursing educator who leads, oversees, and participates in the work of staff providing classroom and clinical/laboratory instruction in health sciences and nursing programs.

Responsibilities include developing curriculum guides, supervising instructors, evaluating learning experiences, and ensuring timely completion of program objectives; candidate must be a licensed RN with 4+ years in medical-surgical nursing or nursing

Qualifications

• Shall be a Registered Nurse with four years’ experience in medical-surgical nursing or nursing education.
• At least one year of the four years must be direct patient care in medical-surgical nursing.
• Must have practiced as a nurse for at least six months in the three years prior to application.
• Must hold a current Louisiana nursing license.

Responsabilités

• Supervisory duties over instructional staff; plan, train, and review work.
• Lead classroom and clinical/laboratory instruction for the program.
• Develop curriculum guides, course syllabi, and instructional materials.
• Schedule offerings based on curriculum guides; participate in meetings.
• Maintain student records and ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide career guidance and advisement to students; support program accreditation.
