d-Matrix, a semiconductor company redefining AI infrastructure, seeks a Senior Manager of Public Relations in Santa Clara. You will own media relations, manage external agencies, and support executive communications across strategic outlets.

This hands-on role requires pitching reporters, writing releases, and prepping the CEO for interviews. You’ll help shape our narrative as CNBC, Reuters, and Bloomberg cover breakthroughs in AI inference hardware, with a fast-paced startup culture that prizes

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications.
• Proven experience managing external PR agencies.
• Strong relationships with technology reporters at major outlets.
• Excellent writing and editing skills for releases and executive content.
• Experience supporting C-suite with communications materials.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day media relations: proactive pitching, inbound inquiry management, and reporters relationships across AI, semiconductors, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise technology.
• Manage external PR agency relationships, set priorities, review deliverables, ensure alignment with brand voice.
• Support the VP with executive communications: interview prep, briefing materials, talking points, speech drafts.
• Build relationships with industry analysts and influencers; scale efforts over time.
• Identify and manage award submissions, track deadlines, coordinate materials.
