Job summary

The KA Consulting Group is seeking a Senior PR Expert for freelance or project-based engagements. You will lead executive PR programs, secure earned media, and build visibility for leaders across sectors.

This fully remote role requires strong media relationships, a track record of securing placements, podcasts, awards, and speaking opportunities. You will research opportunities, write pitches, manage outreach campaigns, deliver weekly updates, and work closely with a senior team while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public relations experience.
• Strong background in executive PR, media relations, and visibility strategy.
• Proven track record of securing earned media placements for executives, founders, or brands across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 U.S.-based publications.
• Demonstrated experience securing podcast interviews and guest appearances for senior executives.
• Demonstrated experience identifying and securing awards, executive recognition opportunities, company awards, and corporate rankings.
• Experience securing speaking opportunities, panels, conference participation, and other executive visibility opportunities.
• Strong media relationships and the ability to identify journalists, editors, podcast hosts, award programs, and opportunities for each client.
• Experience across industries such as life sciences, pharmaceuticals, technology, IT services, leadership, marketing, professional services, and corporate recognition.
• Ability to develop strong story angles and pitches that support long-term executive reputation and positioning.
• Strong understanding of credibility and relevance to media rather than mass outreach.
