REQ is seeking an Account Manager to join our Public Relations team in Phoenix, AZ. You will manage client relationships, lead strategic communications programs, and drive account growth and team development.

You will act as a trusted partner, guiding senior stakeholders, leading meetings, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact media campaigns and executive communications. No agencies, please.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in public relations or communications.
• Proven ability to manage accounts and deliver strategic, results-driven communications programs.
• Strong media relations experience with demonstrated success securing impactful coverage.
• Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills, including executive-level communications.
• Strong knowledge of application of AI in PR & marketing; Ability to develop AI-driven reports, process efficiencies, new service capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to team leadership.
• Strong understanding of technology, business trends, and integrated communications strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead client leadership and relationships, serving as primary day-to-day contact.
• Own media strategy and execution to meet goals and metrics.
• Develop high-quality content including press releases and thought leadership.
• Lead account kickoffs and strategy engagements for long-term value.
