Tekshapers is seeking a Propulsion Powertrain Engineer to analyze and decompose powertrain functions, elicit regulatory requirements and craft high‑level functional requirements artifacts in IBM DOORS/DOORS Next Gen. You will identify propulsion operating modes, document energy management strategies, and define EOL service requirements for propulsion components.

The role requires experience with SFMEA, automotive CAN/LIN/OBD standards, and Matlab-based simulations.

Competenze

Bachelors in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or related engineering field.
5+ years in conventional and hybrid powertrain development.
Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and system functioning.
Knowledge of automotive electrical sensors and actuators.
Familiarity with gearbox management and high-voltage battery energy management.
Understanding Functional Safety.
Experience with CAN/LIN and OBD standards.
Experience with requirement management tools (IBM DOORS).

Mansioni

Perform powertrain function analysis and decomposition.
Elicit regulatory, environmental and electrical requirements and corporate specs.
Create propulsion system functional requirements artifacts in IBM DOORS/DOORS Next Gen.
Document propulsion system operating modes in DNG.
Develop energy management system requirements for propulsion components.
Define propulsion system EOL service requirements (IO/Routine/DID).
Analyze powertrain energy management for nominal, de-rated and non-functional performance.
Conduct SFMEA for propulsion functions and identify safety requirements.
Participate in Agile to plan RASI deliverables and risks.
Develop simulation/virtual models using MATLAB and SysML/Rhapsody.
