The role focuses on optimizing North American produced vehicles for Initial Quality, Warranty Claim reduction, and cost efficiency through engineering design improvements. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in engineering design for functional area.

Responsibilities

• Apply functional area expertise to development of production improvement concepts.
• Collaborate with NA teams and suppliers as an onsite design liaison.
• Ensure manufacturability and focus on warranty claim prevention and quality.
• Use DAQ tools to evaluate and develop improvement recommendations.
• Oversee component testing for production feasibility.
