Buchanan and Edwards seeks a Senior PowerApps Developer with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform to design, develop, and implement custom business applications and automated workflows. This role will involve working closely with internal teams to integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure services and other data sources. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, and Power BI, providing technical guidance on best practices and helping the organization establish a strong Power Platform foundation.

To keep breaking barriers and redefining what's possible, we’re looking for candidates with the following exceptional technical capabilities :

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI, tailored to internal business needs.
• Automated Workflows: Create automated workflows to improve operational efficiency, integrating with existing systems and applications within the Azure ecosystem.
• Platform Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Power Platform applications with other business systems, databases, and cloud services.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and strategic advice on the design, configuration, and use of the Power Platform in the context of the organization’s broader architecture.
• Documentation: Develop detailed documentation for all designs, workflows, and applications, ensuring maintainability and clarity for future developers and stakeholders.
• Best Practices & Standards: Recommend and establish Power Platform best practices, including security, compliance, and service level agreements (SLAs) for new applications and workflows.
• User & IT Staff Training: Offer informal coaching and knowledge transfer sessions to IT staff and end users on Power Platform usage and recommended practices.
• Business Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for low-to-medium complexity applications and workflows.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing troubleshooting and support for developed applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and adherence to the organization’s IT policies.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in application development, with at least 3 years specifically in PowerApps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. Proven experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Azure services and other data sources. Experience in providing technical guidance and support for early Power Platform adoption within an organization.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse). Strong understanding of backend services such as Azure, SQL Server, and other cloud-based data sources. Ability to create custom APIs, connectors, and integrations between systems using the Power Platform. Knowledge of data modeling, security roles, and automation within the Power Platform.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, capable of effectively translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Experience in training or coaching IT staff and business users.
• Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
