Job summary
True Anomaly, Inc. is seeking a Staff Power Engineer to lead spacecraft electrical power system design and analysis. You will own power architecture decisions, drive PDR/CDR reviews, and ensure reliability for multis-program space missions.
Based at Centennial, CO or Long Beach, CA, you will mentor junior engineers, develop budgets, run simulations, and collaborate with avionics, software, and propulsion teams to integrate power systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years in spacecraft or high-reliability electrical power design.
- Experience with solar arrays, batteries, power distribution, and protection.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of spacecraft electrical power systems.
- Own power architecture trades balancing performance and mass.
- Lead PDR/CDR for power subsystems and ensure requirements.
- Develop spacecraft power budgets and analyses across mission phases.
- Model and simulate power systems including on-orbit generation and eclipse.
