Job summary

Meritas Advisory Group, LLC seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in electrical design, project management, and technical leadership to lead complex power systems projects for commercial, manufacturing, institutional, and government sectors.

The role requires a PE license, strong knowledge of NEC/IEEE codes, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM and ETAP. You will mentor engineers, manage budgets and schedules, and develop client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Active PE license.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Power systems and electrical infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, ETAP or similar software.
• Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and applicable electrical codes.
• Demonstrated project management and team leadership experience.
• Strong communication, analytical, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power distribution and building systems design.
• Manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and engineering teams.
• Oversee technical drawings, specifications, and code assignments.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and engineering disciplines.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Support business development, client engagement, and proposal preparation.
