Job summary

Fluence in the United States (Houston) is seeking a Senior Power Systems and Grid Modelling Engineer to lead advanced simulations of Battery Energy Storage Systems for large-load applications, focusing on inverters and Fluence control systems. Qualifications

Master’s Degree in electrical engineering with emphasis on power systems or renewable energy systems, or 3–5 years of related work experience.
Experience in review of grid connection compliance design and integration studies for data centers/large-load applications.
Proficiency with power system analysis tools and scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

Model Battery Energy Storage Systems for steady-state, dynamic, transient and frequency-domain simulations.
Perform grid-connection studies and evaluate compliance to voltage, short-circuit and PQ requirements.
Lead or support validation of control designs for large-load projects and ensure end-to-end grid connections.
Collaborate with product teams, customers, and regulatory bodies to deliver compliant solutions.
