Role Description

This is a full-time remote role in the US as a Senior Power Systems Consultant. This role is critical to the planning and integration of renewables, storage, and FACTS to the electrical grid and to perform large-scale simulations of electrical transmission systems for clients such as power producers, independent system operators, and transmission providers to develop solutions for safe and reliable power system operations.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power and Energy Systems.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the electric power industry.
3. Candidate must have knowledge of transmission system planning or operations with experience analyzing power flow and dynamic stability using PSSE, TARA, or TSAT.

Preferred qualifications:

1. Prior experience in Power System Consulting.
2. Transmission system planning or operations experience in MISO or SPP footprints.
