Job summary

Nexus Engineering Group seeks a Senior Power System Studies Engineer to own analytical studies that keep industrial power systems safe, reliable, and compliant. You’ll lead end-to-end studies, build ETAP models, run analyses, and deliver client-ready reports while mentoring junior engineers.

You’ll serve as a technical point of contact for clients, help shape Nexus’s study methodology and templates, and review work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of experience performing power system studies for industrial clients.
• Advanced, hands-on proficiency in ETAP, EasyPower or SKM including building and validating models.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own power system studies end-to-end — scoping, modeling, analysis, QC, and client-ready report.
• Build and validate models in ETAP, EasyPower, or SKM PowerTools as needed.
• Perform load flow, short-circuit, arc-flash, protective device and relay coordination studies.
