Job summary

Nexus Engineering Group is seeking a Senior Power System Studies Engineer in a hybrid role in Illinois. You will own analytical studies that keep industrial power systems safe, reliable, and compliant, and set the standard for Nexus’s methods.

You’ll lead studies end-to-end, model with ETAP/EasyPower/SKM, and produce client-ready reports. You will mentor junior engineers, review work, and help shape study templates and standards while traveling occasionally to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of experience performing power system studies for industrial clients.
• Advanced, hands-on proficiency in ETAP, EasyPower or SKM.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own power system studies end-to-end for industrial clients.
• Build and validate models using ETAP, EasyPower, or SKM PowerTools.
• Review and mentor junior engineers, and serve as technical client contact.
• Develop study templates, methodology, and quality standards.
