Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Experience: 5+ years in power generation and transmission systems or related field with accounting/finance emphasis.
• Familiarity with Midwest ISO, PJM, or other energy markets preferred.
• High proficiency in Excel, Word, and data systems; ability to handle large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly close activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop expertise in settlements of competitive energy markets (currently MISO).
• Understand contracts, tariffs, and market settlement rules; advise on implications.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Support system development and testing for market shadow settlement and billing.
