Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a senior semiconductor product engineer to support yield and performance of power products. You will monitor yield, analyze device tests, and drive root-cause investigations while coordinating with planning to align on yield roadmaps.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years with a BS (or 3+ years with an MS), strong leadership, and deep knowledge of semiconductor processes and physics, with excellent communication skills to present findings across teams.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with a BS or 3 years with a Masters.
• Understanding of semiconductor processes and device physics.
• Experience in semiconductor die level test/final test.
• Proven track record of technical leadership.
• Experience in design of experiments, statistical analysis, and process control.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product yield and key device performance attributes to meet customer commitments and maintain device health.
• Analyze Power Device electrical tests to feed deviations to relevant stakeholders.
• Drive problem solving across multiple teams (e.g., process, flows, product).
• Respond to deviations in product lines and customer concerns and drive to root cause.
• Work with planning to align on yield roadmap and input start requirements.
• Develop solutions using structured problem-solving tools.
• Prevent quality excursions, monitor process performance, and analyze data to detect anomalies.
