Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Web Application Developer in Washington D.C. on a hybrid schedule.

You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI, while integrating with Azure and external systems for a DOJ program. The role requires 5-8 years of Power Platform experience, strong governance and ALM skills, and the ability to mentor developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or 4 additional years of experience) and 5-8 years with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI.
• Strong expertise in Dataverse, data modeling, Power Automate flows, and enterprise Power Platform architecture.
• Experience developing PCF controls, custom connectors, C# plugins, and API integrations with external systems.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience with Power Platform governance, security, ALM, solution management, and low-code development best practices.
• Experience integrating Power Platform with Azure services, DevOps pipelines, Git, and automated deployment processes.
• Ability to gather requirements, build Power BI dashboards, mentor developers, and collaborate with technical and business teams.
• Power Platform certifications, Dynamics 365, and Agile experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI while translating business requirements into scalable platform solutions.
• Develop custom connectors, PCF controls, C# plugins, and API integrations across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure, and external systems.
• Establish Power Platform governance, security, ALM processes, environment strategies, and DevOps deployment pipelines.
• Lead technical workshops, architecture discussions, solution reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders to define platform strategy and roadmap.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, troubleshooting, documentation, mentoring, and implementation of development best practices.
