Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Software Engineer 4 – Contingent, specializing in Microsoft Power Platform, for a hybrid role in Charlotte, NC. The hands-on developer will design, build, and support Canvas Apps and Power Automate solutions, while also contributing as a software architect across initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military, or education.
• 2-4 years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience (Canvas Apps and Power Automate).
• 1-2 years of software architecture experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable applications.
• Configure and enhance Power Platform solutions that support business controls and action plan implementation.
• Act as a solution architect for Power Platform initiatives, participating in architecture reviews and technology discussions.
• Design, build, and maintain Canvas Applications and develop automated workflows using Power Automate.
• Collaborate with business users, IT platform groups, and enterprise architects to align on standards, dependencies, and roadmap direction.
• Support platform upgrades, production operations, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Present solution designs and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
