Job summary

VDOT ITD seeks a senior Power Platform Developer through VGroup Inc. to design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise Power Platform solutions. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable apps and automations.

The role requires extensive experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio, along with strong development skills in C#.NET and JavaScript. Hybrid/onsite work at client site is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience.
• 5+ years with Power Platform and Dataverse.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI.
• 5+ years of custom development using C#.NET and JavaScript.
• 2+ years of DevOps in Power Platform environments.
• 3+ years with Azure Synapse and Data Factory; data integration projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).
• Create and configure Power Automate workflows and business process automations.
• Create and configure Power Pages for internal and external-facing websites.
• Customize, configure, deploy, and support Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Utilize Copilot Studio for AI-powered business solutions.
• Conduct discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
• Analyze business challenges and translate requirements into Power Platform solutions.
• Develop applications leveraging Dataverse and Power Platform components.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot Power Platform-related issues and implement solutions.
• Create technical designs and documentation for reusable use cases.
• Support DevOps initiatives using Power Platform Pipelines and ALM Accelerator.
• Develop technical documentation including requirements, recommendations, and analysis.
• Define and maintain governance and best practices for platform usage.
• Participate in Agile SDLC activities including sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with system administrators and cross-functional IT teams.
