Job summary

Oklahoma State Department of Health in Oklahoma City is seeking a Business Automation Specialist to lead the design and implementation of Power Apps-based solutions and related automation. You will build low-code applications, optimize processes, and ensure high-quality technology outcomes.

The role requires expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, with emphasis on collaborating with program areas and stakeholders to deliver reliable automation aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent developer experience.
• Two years of experience in Power Platform development (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and/or Robotic Process Automation.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, implementation, and support of Power Apps–based automation solutions.
• Analyze current workflows, document data capture, notifications, and reporting needs.
• Gather requirements from program areas and translate into technical specifications.
• Develop Power Apps forms, mobile/desktop apps, workflows, and business logic.
• Integrate Power Apps with SharePoint, SQL, Dataverse and other enterprise systems.
• Maintain solution documentation, user guides, and training materials.
