Job summary

Strategic Business Solutions is seeking an experienced Power Platform / SharePoint Technical Consultant to support a Smart Energy program in Portland. You will assess and modernize an automation portfolio, focusing on remediating debt in Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint environments.

Embedded within the IT Infrastructure team, this role emphasizes reliability, maintainability, and long-term sustainability of automation solutions with close collaboration across technical and business

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate.
• SharePoint Online expertise (sites, lists, libraries, permissions, governance).
• Experience troubleshooting integrations and dependencies between Power Platform and SharePoint.
• Ability to assess existing applications and remediate technical debt.
• Experience documenting architecture and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess the existing portfolio of Power Automate workflows, Power Apps, SharePoint solutions, and associated integrations.
• Identify and remediate technical debt, production support risks, and areas of instability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting Power Platform and SharePoint applications and workflows.
• Review existing Power Automate flows for performance, reliability, dependencies, and support risks.
• Implement standardized approaches to solution architecture, error handling, monitoring, logging, and operational controls.
• Review existing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, permissions, dependencies, and governance controls.
• Evaluate security and access configurations and recommend improvements.
• Update and improve existing technical documentation to reflect solution architecture and dependencies.
• Identify opportunities to simplify or improve existing automation solutions.
• Partner with IT Infrastructure and stakeholders to resolve integration issues.
• Establish sustainable support practices and technical standards for automation solutions.
