Job summary

E2 Consulting Engineers, LP is seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer / Technical Lead to design, build, and mature our use of Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365. You will partner with the CTO to guide solution design, governance, and lifecycle management while hands-on building capabilities.

The role requires deep platform expertise, current knowledge of Power Platform, and a focus on secure, scalable architectures across integrations and modern Microsoft technologies.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience building and supporting production Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Platform Solutions, security, and ALM.
• Experience with Dynamics 365, including configuration, extension, or integration with the broader Power Platform ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of Dataverse data modeling, relationships, ownership, security, and application architecture.
• Experience integrating Power Platform with external business systems.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, working with authentication and authorization, and developing or using custom connectors.
• Experience implementing structured Development, Test/UAT, and Production environments and repeatable deployment processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 integrations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CTO to design secure, maintainable, and scalable Power Platform solutions.
• Design and develop solutions using Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Dynamics 365.
• Design Dataverse data models, relationships, business rules, security, and components.
• Implement integrations between Power Platform and internal/third-party systems via APIs, connectors, Azure services.
• Evaluate when Power Platform is appropriate vs Azure or traditional development.
• Establish reusable architecture patterns, standards, naming conventions, and governance.
• Design and support Development, Test/UAT, and Production environments.
• Implement ALM with Solutions, environment variables, pipelines, source control, and CI/CD.
• Design with Entra ID, Dataverse security roles, and least-privilege access.
• Support governance including DLP policies, connectors, Managed Environments, auditing.
• Review solutions for performance, security, licensing, and scalability.
• Stay current with Power Platform changes and AI/Copilot capabilities.
• Document architectural decisions and lessons learned for future initiatives.
