Purpose and Scope
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Power Platform Administrator to manage, govern, and support our Microsoft Power Platform environment. This role is critical to enabling secure, scalable, and efficient use of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI across the organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with IT, business units, and developers to ensure the platform is optimized for innovation while maintaining compliance and governance standards.
Power Platform Addendum
- Administer and maintain the Power Platform environment, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
- Implement and enforce governance policies, data loss prevention (DLP) rules, and security roles.
- Monitor platform usage, performance, and capacity; proactively address issues and optimize resources.
- Support and guide business users and developers in building compliant and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with Microsoft 365 and Azure administrators to ensure seamless integration and security alignment.
- Manage environment lifecycle (development, test, production) and application lifecycle management (ALM) processes.
- Provide training, documentation, and support to end users and stakeholders.
- Stay current with Microsoft roadmap updates and recommend improvements or new capabilities.
- 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft Power Platform or similar low-code platforms.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and security/compliance frameworks.
- Experience with Power Platform governance, DLP policies, and environment management.
- Familiarity with PowerShell, Power Platform CLI, or other automation tools.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs the installation, design and tuning of operating system/hypervisor, hardware, and all related peripherals.
- Automate, facilitate and manage virtualized workloads in internal and external clouds.
- Operate in a small, dedicated, focused team.
- Operate in an entrepreneurial manner with extreme customer focus.
- Automate provisioning, deployment and configuration of virtual infrastructure.
- Monitor and administer servers in cloud and on premise.
- Improve infrastructure and processes for higher levels of availability and scalability.
- Co-develop solutions with the business groups/development teams.
- Act as a liaison between our customers and support teams.
- Ensure that customer deployed environments are secure and consistent.
- Work as a seasoned professional with a full understanding of the area of specialization; resolve a wide range of issues creatively.
- May provide assistance to junior staff with more complex tasks; may escalate issues to supervisor/manager for resolution.
- Mentor other staff as applicable.
- Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Assist with various projects as assigned by a direct supervisor.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Degree desirable.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-400, PL-600, or PL-900) a plus.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or other ALM tools a plus.
- Background in enterprise IT or digital transformation initiatives a plus.
Experience and Required Skills
- 5 - 8 years' related experience; or a Master's degree with 3 years' experience; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent directly related work experience.
- Proven experience designing, deploying or operating virtualized applications/infrastructure in a public/private cloud environment.
- Experience in applicable operating system/hypervisor, applications, and networking protocols.
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals.
- Ability to analyze and problem solve under pressure.
- Project management experience.
- Must have excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
