Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, seeks an experienced Operations and Maintenance Technician III to support safe, reliable power plant operations in Wilmington, Delaware. This temporary contract role offers potential conversion based on performance.

You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections of plant equipment, report data, and coordinate with contractors, with shift work including outages, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Vocational School education is required.
• Four years of experience in power plant operations, power plant maintenance, industrial maintenance, military technical training, or an equivalent technical environment.
• OR completion of three post-secondary accredited courses in electricity, electronics, instrumentation, or related field.
• Valid driver's license required.
• EEI TECH Test must be passed.
• TWIC within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with maintenance, operation, troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment and systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and operating conditions for safe and efficient plant operation.
• Record, evaluate and maintain operational and maintenance data and reports.
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, drawings and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and non-routine conditions to maintain safety and service continuity.
• Participate in planned maintenance and repairs.
