Job summary

Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc., headquartered in Houston, seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of major gas turbine and aeroderivative power plant projects. You will manage cross-functional teams, EPC contractors, and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget completion with robust safety and quality controls.

The role requires 10+ years in power generation or industrial construction, a strong track record in COD-ready projects, and mastery of project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive project management experience in power generation or heavy industrial construction.
• Direct experience with gas turbine or aeroderivative turbine projects from inception to COD.
• Proven track record delivering utility-scale power projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale power generation facilities.
• Develop schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
• Oversee procurement, subcontracting, and vendor management.
• Coordinate with EPC, OEMs, utilities, regulatory agencies, and permitting authorities.
• Manage cost forecasting, earned value management, progress reporting, and variance analysis.
• Drive safety on site and adherence to Solaris safety standards.
• Coordinate workshops and on-site reviews for planning alignment.
• Manage on-site SIMOPS and issue resolution with the team.
• Lead meetings and executive-level status reports and dashboards.
• Oversee commissioning, start-up, and handover to operations.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
