• Years of previous experience as a technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled tasks diagnosing malfunctions, repairs, preventive maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls.
• Commitment to safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain open communication with management on job status and changes.
• Use low/high voltage load banks for testing and repair of generator sets.
• Determine corrective action through inspection of failed parts.
• Order replacement parts and services efficiently.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs to engines, generators, or components.
• Start up and commission large genset units with automatic transfer switches.
• Occasional driving may be required.
