Curtis Power Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Lead Power Generation Field Service Technician. This full-time role offers $35.00 to $45.00 per hour and requires experience in generator servicing.

• Determine corrective action through inspection of failed parts.
• Order replacement parts and services efficiently.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs to engines, generators, or components.
• Start up and commission large genset units with automatic transfer switches.
• Occasional driving may be required.

This individual should have years of previous experience as a technician. Key Responsibilities

Physical Demands

Technician roles are physically demanding and require prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Occasional heavy lifting and pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds (or more) may be required. While performing the duties of this job, the Technician will frequently use hands to manipulate and grasp objects; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, stretch, or twist to perform repairs and inspections. Good vision to inspect repair work and effective communication are essential. Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present. A technician may work in areas with temperature and/or humidity extremes.
