ABB Smart Power in the US is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to contribute to power converter design and verification. You will drive simulations, select components with suppliers, and validate products through testing, while coordinating analyses within an agile R&D team.

The role requires 6+ years in electrical engineering, expertise in power electronics topologies, and proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and LTSpice. Occasional travel and US work authorization are expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with power electronics topologies and UPS technology.
• Proficient with MATLAB/Simulink and LTSpice; strong programming skills in C.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop power converters and specify components with suppliers.
• Support the end-to-end design cycle from simulation to validation and documentation.
• Coordinate complex analyses and make recommendations based on engineering practices and business needs.
• Assist operations and after-sales during troubleshooting and field support.
