A pioneering nuclear technology firm is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to develop power electronics for a nuclear-driven generator. You will design high-voltage components and work with a team of experienced engineers to deliver the first portable nuclear microreactor. Key responsibilities include designing power systems and conducting simulations. A Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and substantial design experience are required. This role is based in El Segundo, CA.
Qualifications
6+ years of design experience designing high voltage and high-power electronics.
Strong experience in high voltage power electronics design (+800V).
Expert with AC/DC inverters and DC/DC converters.
Responsibilities
Design power electronic systems to convert AC and DC power sources.
Take ownership of designing and configuring inverters.
Conduct modeling and detailed simulation of inverters.
Skills
