Castelion Corporation is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to lead the development of power systems for next-generation hypersonic vehicle platforms. You will work across avionics, GNC, and flight software teams to ensure reliable power generation, storage, and distribution in mission-critical environments.

The role requires strong hands-on design, simulation, and validation in a hardware-driven setting, with leadership responsibilities and a focus on robust, safe power architectures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop power electronics systems for high-performance flight vehicles.
• Lead design and optimization of power controllers and management systems.
• Develop and analyze battery systems including safety mechanisms.
• Collaborate with avionics, GNC, and flight software teams for integration.
• Model and simulate performance under dynamic conditions.
• Support hardware bring-up, test campaigns, and root-cause analysis.
• Define and execute qualification and flight test plans.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
