You will design power conversion and control circuits, perform modeling, testing, and documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, mass-producible solutions for medical imaging and related markets.

In this context, Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corp. is seeking a highly talented, motivated, creative, and experienced Sr. Engineering in the field of Power Electronics, Power Management and Digital Controls technologies and applications, to include development, testing and validation.
This position allows the candidate to advance the power electronics technology roadmap that both supports the existing company product line and enables expansion for the next generation products.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently on new power electronics concepts (advanced development) which can be demonstrated to be mass produced while also supporting on-going customer product development activities as needed.
She/He must have knowledge in power electronics & Controls (PID) design and simulation. The ability to design and develop products from high level requirements. Professional experience in power supplies, Inverters, DC-DC converters, Magnetics, and high voltage technologies is a definite plus.
Further, in this role, soft skills, coaching and mentoring, are all key requirements to be successful.
