What You Will Do:

You will work on Avionics projects, designing and developing power conversion systems, solving some of the more complex projects in aerospace. You will have the opportunity to work on different power conversion systems with various power levels and frequency ranges, DC/DC and AC/DC.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Experience with various power levels and frequency ranges, DC/DC and AC/DC powerconversion designs (topologies, components, control, packaging, etc.).
  • Experience with EMC/EMI, thermal stress, and other environmental issues and their impact on design methodology.
  • Knowledge in Power supply magnetics design.
  • Experience in the above within the aerospace industry is a plus.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience developing, capturing, and reviewing system level power requirements (MILSTD-704, MIL-STD-461, and DO-160) or similar from different industries.
  • Planar magnetics design or simulation experience is a plus.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
