Job summary
Covestro seeks a Principal Power Distribution Engineer to own maintenance and optimization of the Baytown site's electrical distribution. You will drive reliability improvements, support incident investigations, and guide asset maintenance strategies while coordinating with maintenance teams and BU engineers.

Qualifications
- ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree with 12+ years of experience or Master’s with 8+ years.
- Experience in industrial and/or petrochemical environments.
- The degree must be from an ABET or equivalent accredited program.
- TWIC eligibility within a reasonable timeframe.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize PCT electrical power distribution across the Baytown site.
- Verify compliance with engineering and safety procedures; improve reliability and performance.
- Participate in incident investigations and follow-up corrective actions.
- Refine maintenance scopes and PM intervals for assets; support DE teams.
- Provide technical support to BU PCT engineers and technicians.
