Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Power Delivery Project Manager to lead large-scale utility projects from Richmond, VA, with options for remote work within the region. This role oversees planning, execution, and closeout across transmission, distribution, and substation scopes, ensuring budget, schedule, and risk controls are front-and-center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Power Delivery project management leadership for large-scale utility projects and ensure schedule, cost, and risk are managed.
• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication strategies for utility clients and internal teams.
• Support Go/No-Go decisions, contract reviews, and pricing strategies for Power Delivery projects.
• Lead technical and commercial negotiations with IOUs, IPPs, and public power clients.
• Mentor and coach project managers, engineers, and staff to enforce QA/QC and safety standards.
• Maintain regular client communications with monthly progress reporting and risk updates.
