Job Description Summary

What Impact you’ll make:

As the Site Customer Portfolio Manager located in Nevada near the Las Vegas area, with a dynamic customer base and multiple locations, you will need to demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives within Gas Power.

As our dedicated Customer Portfolio Manager responsible to the Area, you will be accountable for the profitability and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts and customer obligations, to fulfill service agreement obligations, fixed price, and support time and material program management, while interacting with members of the customer service, parts and transactional services, field service, repair service, and/or other teams.

Your high levels of operational judgment are required to achieve objectives.

Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Serve as a liaison between internal/external organizations and your assigned customer(s), own the customer relationship, customer communication, and contribute to the overall business strategy including P&L and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and own site customer communication plan, coordinate and facilitate regular customer meetings reviewing open items, action plans, and existing/new GE Vernova products/services that could provide value.
  • Oversee Gas Power warranty and applicable commercial considerations, including concessions, balancing benefits for the customer and GE.
  • Responsible for outage scope development and communication to the field services team.
  • Manage outage/non-outage parts planning, including requests for quotes, providing quotes to customers, managing parts orders, and invoicing.
  • Lead emergent/forced outage matters to resolution.
  • Organize and facilitate pre-outage, post-outage, and milestone meetings, including repairs performed in GRS addressing issues in the GE network.
  • Own contract leadership and fulfillment, including understanding T&Cs and contract requirements such as LD & bonus structures.

What you’ll bring: (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or an associate's degree with 7+ years of experience in power generation industry.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of technical field experience with Heavy Duty Gas Turbine and/or Steam Power.

Other Eligibility Requirements:

  • Ability to work up to 50% of the time at the site located in Nevada, North Las Vegas area.
  • National relocation is offered within the US.

  • Exceptional communication, time management, leadership skills, and a proactive approach, with advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Lean Standard Work/Process Improvement, operational judgment, and Lean tools.

For U.S. candidates only: The base pay range is $120,000 - $165,000 USD annually. The specific pay may vary based on experience, education, and skills. The position is eligible for a 15% performance bonus. Geographic differentials of 110%, 120%, or 130% may apply depending on location. The position remains open until at least April 10, 2025.
