JPS Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Lead Power BI Developer with 5+ years of hands-on Power BI experience to lead a team of developers and modernise enterprise reporting solutions. The role focuses on migrating legacy reports and delivering reliable, data-driven dashboards in an enterprise environment.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, ETL, data visualization, and technical leadership, collaborating with business and technical teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Power BI development in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Power BI reports/dashboards, data modelling and data visualisation.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team of developers (~4+ people).
• Experience with ETL processes and BI/reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of enterprise reporting architecture and standards.
• Experience translating business needs into technical reporting solutions.
• Strong data analysis, testing, validation and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and presentation with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and modernisation of legacy reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Provide technical direction, mentoring and development standards for the team.
• Design scalable dashboards, reports, semantic models and visualisations for enterprise users.
• Partner with data engineers and ETL teams to ensure accurate data sourcing.
• Translate business and reporting requirements into effective Power BI solutions.
• Establish standards for report design, development, documentation, accessibility and governance.
• Perform data validation, report testing and quality checks to ensure accurate results.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, report specifications and support materials.
• Troubleshoot reporting and data issues and drive resolution with technical teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support enterprise reporting initiatives.
• Promote Power BI development best practices and reusable solutions.
