Job summary

Apexon is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer / Reporting Lead to design, build, and maintain enterprise dashboards in Fort Worth, TX. You will work with customer stakeholders to turn business needs into reliable insights using Power BI with Databricks as the primary data source.

You will connect to Databricks, build data models and DAX measures, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate with data engineering. Onsite presence is required at the Fort Worth customer office.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of BI and reporting experience required.
• Hands-on Power BI experience (DAX, Power Query, data modeling) and Power BI Service.
• Experience integrating Power BI with Databricks and familiarity with Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business and executive users.
• Connect Power BI to Databricks and build optimized data models and datasets.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into reporting solutions.
• Tune performance, manage refresh schedules, and apply data security (RLS).
• Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting issues.
• Collaborate with data engineering to shape curated Databricks data.
• Support or migrate reports from Tableau as needed.
