Job summary

Insight Global in Irvine, CA is looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to support a high-impact cloud migration initiative. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Power BI development, designing complex dashboards, and migrating reports from SSRS and Tableau. This is a contract position ideally requiring onsite work three days a week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience with a portfolio of complex dashboards.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data-modeling techniques.
• Experience with Tableau and ability to assist in transitioning users from Tableau to Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Power BI dashboards with a focus on performance and usability.
• Lead the migration of reports from SSRS, Business Objects, and Tableau to Power BI.
• Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and translate those needs into scalable data models and visualizations.
