Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to lead and enhance the organization's business intelligence capabilities. This senior-level role will focus on designing and developing high-performance reports and dashboards, building scalable data models and semantic layers, and establishing best practices for data governance, security, and access control.

The successful candidate will work with diverse data environments, including on-premises Oracle databases and cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks, while partnering with business stakeholders and data teams to deliver intuitive analytics solutions that support strategic decision-making.

This position also provides an opportunity to serve as a senior technical contributor, offering architectural guidance and mentorship to BI developers and analysts.

Required

• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, DAX, and data modeling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including:
  • Complex queries
  • Joins
  • Common Table Expressions (CTEs)
  • Window functions
  • Query optimization
• 7 10 years of experience in a senior Business Intelligence or related role.
• Demonstrated ability to function as a technical lead or senior individual contributor.
• Experience working with both on-premises Oracle databases and cloud data sources.
• Strong understanding of BI architecture, reporting, and analytics development.

Qualifications

• Experience designing semantic layers and star schemas for analytics.
• Knowledge of data governance, data security, and access control best practices.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem.
• Experience implementing row-level security and data masking.
• Proven ability to mentor BI developers and analysts.
• Experience providing architectural direction and technical leadership within a BI team.
