Job summary

National Veterinary Associates (NVA) is seeking a Senior BI Developer to design and build Power BI semantic data models, dashboards, and self-service reporting solutions across clinical, operational, and financial domains. You will author advanced DAX, implement star-schema models, and ensure performance and governance.

As a hands-on senior contributor, you'll mentor junior developers, collaborate across U.S.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on BI/report development experience.
• Expert Power BI with advanced DAX and semantic data modeling.
• Experience with AI-assisted BI (Claude/OpenAI) and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of BI governance and enterprise standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Power BI semantic data models and dashboards.
• Apply BI governance, naming conventions, documentation and standards.
• Develop AI-enabled self-service reporting with Claude and Fabric.
• Collaborate with business teams across domains to deliver BI solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to BI governance.
